Vekiou Savina was born in Athens and studied at the Physiotherapy Department of the Technological Educational Institute of Athens. She works as a physiotherapist in a private physiotherapy clinic. She was trained in Acupuncture at the lifelong education program of the University of West Attica and then she completed her post-graduate training in China at the University of Shanghai in 2018. As part of the Acupuncture program of PADA, she worked as an assistant at the Pain Clinic of Areteion Hospital. She has attended numerous seminars on the treatment of musculoskeletal conditions. She is currently a candidate of the Postgraduate Program of Studies “New Methods in Physiotherapy” at the Department of Physiotherapy at the University of West Attica and is currently working on her thesis on: “Short-term and immediate effects of neuroscience pain education on the questionnaire of pain behavior in healthy and chronic pain patients”.
