The Laboratory of Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy – EMF (Laboratory of Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy) has the mission to:
To meet the undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and research needs of the Department and other Departments of the University of West Attica on topics that fall within the scope of the Laboratory.
The support of doctoral and postdoctoral research on topics related to the teaching and research objects of the Laboratory.
The promotion of teaching and research collaborations between professors and researchers with related or complementary fields of specialization within the University of West Attica.
The cooperation in any form with Research Centres and Academic Institutions in Greece and abroad, provided that the objectives coincide, are compatible and complementary with those of the Laboratory in a spirit of reciprocity and collective work.
The cooperation with bodies of the wider public sector, with local government organisations, with scientific, social and professional bodies, with international organisations or organisations as well as with productive bodies of the private sector in the relevant scientific fields, in order to contribute to the joint exploration of solutions and proposals for the treatment of contemporary problems.
To provide expert opinions on issues related to the Laboratory’s fields of knowledge, in accordance with the legislation in force.
The provision of services to individuals and organizations in accordance with the provisions of the decree 159/1984 (Government Gazette 53/A/27-04-1984) “Conditions for the provision of services by the university laboratories to individuals and organizations of any legal form”.
The attraction of funded research from national and international resources in the scientific fields of activity of the Laboratory or individual fields of expertise of its members.
The organization of scientific lectures, workshops, seminars, symposia, conferences and other scientific events, the realization of publications and publications and the invitation of Greek and foreign scientists of recognized prestige.
