Christos Koutseribas is an Orthopaedic Surgeon and has been trained in robotic-assisted hip and knee arthroplasty with a fellowship from the European Society of Sports traumatology Knee surgery and Arthroscopy (ESSKA).

He is a graduate of the Medical School of Heraklion, Crete and a PhD from the Medical School of Athens. He started his residency in Orthopaedics and Traumatology at a hospital in Germany (St Katharinen Academic Hospital, Frechen), at the University Hospital of Heraklion, Crete, while most of his residency was at the 251 General Aviation Hospital. He has trained extensively in adult reconstructive surgery, minimally invasive techniques, robot-assisted arthroplasty, sports injuries and traumatology. He is a member of the European Hip Society (EHS) and the European Society of Sports traumatology Knee surgery and Arthroscopy (ESSKA).

He has trained physicians in anterior-to-external minimally invasive approach (ALMIS) for hip arthroplasty and has been an instructor in cadaveric knee arthroscopy seminars. He has taught as a guest lecturer at the Physiotherapy Department of PADA and participates in the training of European University Cyprus students during their clinical training in Orthopaedics.

He holds a research position at the Medical School of Athens and has published more than 120 papers in prestigious foreign language journals of high impact, such as Lancet, JAMA Surgery, Injury etc.His research is mainly concerned with the results of minimally invasive techniques in arthroplasty, periprosthetic infections and surgical anatomy of the musculoskeletal system.He participates as principal investigator in paid protocols on bone infections. He has presented more than 50 papers in international conferences and has received best paper awards at prestigious Orthopaedic conferences (EFORT and WCO-IOF-ESCEO).
